sound and light can be taken down and recorded as they are waves in continuous distribution, while smell propagates through particles *revision of physics* :p perhaps can hav a device sending wave messenge or impulse to brain which induces 'imagination' of smell ... *something wrong after intensive computing revision...*
yeah.. I love smell. The smell of people (pleasant ones), the smell of sun on clothes, the sweat after a good work out, the smell of pre-rain, the smell of post-rain, the smell of fresh grass, the smell of forest! haha well, I think it's not difficult to do what li gu niang suggested, at least from a psychological point of view! Human mind has a great capacity to be prompted with memory and imagination!
