Durian. Konnyaku. Desert-rose.

There is a famous saying: 榴莲出 纱笼脱 which means that during durian season, people want it so much that they are even willing to sell their sarong . The King of fruit is really irresistible especially those yellow-bitter ones. Gosh. Heavenly. Those in the photo look like a pair of healthy lungs isn't it?


Konnyaku. I thought it was a Malay brand name when i heard the name for the first time. (coz suffix "-ku" means "my" so "konnyaku" can mean "My Konnya") Haha. And actually it's the japanese name of the plant where the starchy jelly is extracted from. <蒟蒻 こんにゃく 곤약>


Wow. Desert-rose 沙漠蔷薇. I didnt know this plant has such a strong name! All these years it had been known as 富贵花 "flower of riches and honour" to me. Native to africa and arabia. For years it has stood in front of my house and kena attacked by countless number of caterpillars. Wahsey. Desert spirit man.
