NJ harmoc camp 2005

hello. i'm back from harmoc camp todae. it was kinda fun n fun except for the waiting parts la.
erm shall start blogging from fri ...

came back to hostel strght when the sidegate was opened. coz no chem tut. then reached hostel at about 120pm then bathed n changed n packed my stuff n did the ppt but sad coz couldnt finish in time la..

so 1635 i went off to sch coz i thot i was late liao. then reach lt2 saw no one inside lor. bleh. we r supposed to meet at 5 la. then ppl slowly came . kinda slack i think . coz till 1715 then still got quite alot of ppl not in lt2 yet . n mrs lai gave a talk for the jrs on the duties of the excos which is kinda redundant for the j2s n there was actually no reason for us to gather there so early !!

the camp was officially started when mr.tang came (about 5 or 10minutes to 6 i think?). n we ate the buffet that the teachers treated us la. some fried rice. fried mee. n lotsa meats.. n then waited for kinda LONG for the nxt XTVT lor. we finished eating at ard 1900 then got the band tee.. then waited till ard 2000+ for the games la... ohya band tee. finally we got our harMoc band tee.. n feel so proud of it coz i designed the front part !! haha. n i think it looks nice la esp the back part lor. the front abit the weird n hard to see la... but then it still NICE . =) n one thing i wanna clarify is that NJ Charm On. I c a Band ( read : i see a band ) doesnt hv any meaning one la.. juz rearrange the words onli lor..

k. then the games. games that nite were not bad juz that a bit messy in the grping part n too short lor. n kudos for the jrs for their impromtu plan of simultaneous captain ball ! n all the stn masters n mistresses ( the j1s ) were v guud la.. as in compared to ..err. last year? .. for my group ( grp 4) we played dodge ball then field-searching-for-frog-n-duck game then black widow then rmb-some-stuff-in-3-minutes game then lastly the blindfold touching game... all the games were quite fun n well organised. juz that the duration for each game is not balance la.. then got some congestions during the games la... anywae my grp din do any forfeit at all coz we passed all the stns !! ha. but then found out later the forfeit for black widow was a packet of twisties !!! -_- then after that it was kinda early when every grp finished the stns then they initially planned to let us watch movie but then no projector... so they thot of this simultaneous captain ball game : 5 grps 3 balls n all played tog . which is quite successful to engage everyone to play n have fun ! n everyone was v tired coz got lotsa running n screaming n fighting.. haha... n we played till 2300 + ....

then bathed. then we changed into our new harmoc tee !!! haha. wanted to take a pic tog with the back facing the camera but then didnt . bleah. but everyone looks nice in that tee la. *ahem*

then free time lor. some at amphi .some went to sleep. some still bathing. some dunno where. teachers were online in ta38. then i was in the canteen with my unconnected-to-wifi laptop with tl.mj.cc... then they played cards..daidee..bridge... then i wanted to do the ppt but then lazie la.. then played some last year promos stuff : kawaks n gba... then more ppl came.... then they cont to play cards n some went to sleep then my laptop batt went flat....

it was about 0138 according to my com.. then four of us cher.jess.yk n me went to central grandstd to chat n .. look at the moon n the cars passing by on bkt rd .. lol. realli talked ALOT. like about everythin la. then from cannot see the moon we talked till the moon was about to set lor. like almost 0250 la.. haha.. long time nv have such a nice chat n in fact this is the 1st time for 4 of us to chat for so long in the 'morning'. haha.. oh n i got bitten by some insects n dirtied mt harmoc teee.. walaaaaooo...

then3plus in the morning.. we did sth crazie.. wanted to juz walk around the sch but in the end we went to the gym with some lousy rackets to play badminton!!! LOL. played mixed doubles cum simultaneous singles... hahaaa.. was like kinda exhausted liao n still lafin like hell laa.. hahaa . ... then played till ard 0345 ... we stopped n said wanna walk ard sch n check out the rest of the ppl...

went to ta block. most of them was sleeping.. some with the lights on..then heard sum typing sound from the teachers room.. wa .. 4plus in the morning leh... then walk .. then sit down.. then finally went back to canteen coz cher couldnt take it anymore liao... then we started playing cards ( n those ppl were still there playing cards !!!they started playing from 0000 one leh )altho our brains couldnt realli function that well at tht time n i aactually took more than 1s to figure out why 52 x 2 = 104 !!! haha. thenn i told stories . then it was kiinda farnie to see ppl got scared by my red string story.. haha. erm mayb not farnie la. juz that meet my purpose of telling that story... then talked about some other stories in weird sequence n wrong storylines coz ag brain was half-dead .. then crap till ard 500 ... then some wanted to go sleep liao but i persuaded them to play badminton which i din play this time then some went to play bball then i think i fell asleep at ard 530 on the canteen bench ....

haiz missed the sunrise which i wanted to c from the nj crest ( but then they said got 'sth' over there leh.. *goosebumps start poping up* )

then woke up at 630 went to take bags then cclimbed over the gate ( hope sp wont c dis or else i would b called for detention ..) n walked bac to hostel with my little energy left with yk. coz we got some fund management econs quiz at nus at 1030am supposed to meet wiith the rest at 915 n go tog. then reached dining hall at ard 0730.. many ppl staring at us coz it's kinda weird for us to come bk to hostel whilee the rest was like leaving to sch or wad laa.. n b'fast. din care it was nice anot coz we were super hungry liao ...

then went back to room . n i fell asleep when i juz lie on my bed to catch some rest on my pillow la.. till 0930 !! ya late dee. so went to the bus stop . took 151 with the sa econs quiz ppl.... then there was this super heavy jam in nus caused by parents' kiasu-ism la.. got some selection test or wad goin on... then of coz we were late for the quiz ... LT17.. then i think nj was kinda slack coz other schs all wearing sch u but nj ppl were full with colours : house tee pe tee sch u nj team tee orientation tee own tee bla bla bla.. kinda crappy + sleepy + freeezing during the quiz n realised i forgot most of my micro liao le.. but it was mcq la .. juz tembak lor..

then came back hostel n had lunch at about 1pm. then strghtaway sleep till 1915 .
super nice weather to sleep . it was windy n then rainy .

then i heard mrt sound : dingdong. door's closing . tut tut tut tu tu tut tut... my phone was ringing.

then dinner then packed food then i'm here. tilll now 2137.
yup that's all about harmoc cmp n national fund management econs quiz 2005.

some regrets:
- didn get to play the games on the 2nd day (this morning one la)
- din get to hear the election speeches
- din get to vote for the excos
- din finish the ppt n i'm letting it to die as my personal collection . si ren zhen cang ...
