so wad happenned in my life for the last 2 days?
let's c..[read this if u got lotsa time n dun feel like mugging + super interested in econs stuff like stockbroking ;) ]
MON- wa. no nd to go to sch on monday !! wad a day to celebrate ... with books n lecture notes .. -_- haha. no . i woke up v late. almost 11am. took bath.then went down to study room . occasionally go to f110 to online.=P ... then cant realli rmb wad happen after tat.. till like 530pm. we went to play ping pong aka tabletennis again =) ( me,kk,kim,alex ) thankyou xiaodong for lending us ur bats !! n joining us after that !! so we went to chs again. it was beri fun!! hahaz. this time i played more than last time. erm learnt sth from xiaodong n kim. ha n we played doubles!! till like 730pm ( ha we planned to play till 700 onli de) ..then ate sucky dinner . cme back bathed. nap. online. mug. gone crazy. ha.
then i came up with my new philosophy of life :only 2 options in life : happy or sad .. so u decide urself. ya. unkymoods are kool !! i saved all the moods in My Document\My Pictures liao..muahaha.. got 170+ diff moods...
then slept in f110.couldnt sleep v well coz not on my own bed.ha.kk slept on yogamat.ha.thanks man.think i woke up a few times in the morning ( as in 3-5am) ... kinda bright out there..the corridor lights..
TUE- woke up.4 phones ringing tog at 7am. oh today going to stockbroking firm. ate bfast. porridge.you tiao. with yk,kim,su,daniel,jason. oh promised them to show them juhn n betty tonight de!! aiya. nvm la another day la.=P.then we went to newton-->city hall to meet the rest. miss ng din go. wa..coz she went ydae liao. sigh. onli ms heng went with us. abit dissapointed. then we walked to the firm ( kim eng securities) . a senior executive came to welcome us.justina.then we went into the boardroom.then had this talk by their business development department vp.mr.kewee kho. we got this free folder with newspaper reports about this singapore largest independent stockbroking firm with offices ard asia.earning 40% of profits n broke the records ag n ag. they are the no.1 stockbroking firm in thai.phi.taiwan.hk. walao. tera sia.
then we got to know wad's the diff between dealer and remisier(A remisier is an independent agent attached and registered with a stock broking company whereas dealer is attached to some firms with base salary). n the diff departments in a stock broking firm. research.dealers.IT.HR.customer service.finance.etc. hmm n lotsa chim terms like contra.T+3(ee..i think i heard be4 this thing).ha.
then we were shown how dealers make a deal.or a trade.n HK market opens at 10am!! n i think msia one opens at 9am.i used to check teletext about KLSE one.dunplay play.=P
super successful dealers got their own room.researchers got their own room.cant disturb...
then we got back to the boardroom after the trip ard kimeng.then seminar by kiwi again.on wad actually is stockbroking.bla bla bla.n guess wad?

then another seminar by this mr.ong.head of researchers of sth like dat.imeng got 12 researchers.n thats enuff to cover everysector in sg apparently.wa.geng sia.then we had lunch !! yum yum. taste good. i hv posted the pic dee.n we were keep asking them questions (oh got other staff came in. top dealers.HR head...) i was damn quiet.coz i think abit slow.then kinda tired.n another point iwill bring out later...
kim.yk.i talked to this best dealer in kim eng.think so.jean.about 30+- stylish.n rich-looked.haha.she taught us the key to success n sum reality of life.ha.know ur dad's frenz.coz they re urpotential customers. ur peers r useless coz they themselves face with probs. retired ppl are the best targets goz they got lotsa $ n dunno how to spend !! this world is cruel. money goes after money. dun ever think u can bcum rich if u dun hv deeeeep pocket.( unless u set up business , pia like hell n lady of luck is on ur side ...) so rich bcum richer ( with help from these dealers n poor cant get richer ). ya. cruel world. n these dealers are juz $minded.
gif u a scenario : a dealer has got 9 phone lines. then if all ring tog plus her own hp. which one will she pick up? ans is hp. coz hp is reserved for BIG customer who will den gif them BIG commision. haiz. they wunt realli bother small broker with little amt of trading. ppl r selfish. practical. moneyminded. that's life ~~ -_-
u need to hv wide network in order to bcum a great dealer.u need to b thickskinned. lie a insurance seller. ha. both earn damn a lot.but theyr juz make use of other ppl to earn $$. ya. no.i wont get into these kinda career.will i ?
then we went to get free guitar strings.buy 2ndhand books.withdraw $. ya but basically is kim n yk la. i dun hv a guitar.i dun like to read books. ya. tired. crappy. went fair price. bought food.drinks. NETSed. came back hostel .slept. ate(sucky dinner ag). mugged. online. blogging....
