Music.

Actually music is a very individual stuff to enjoy n to appreciate. At least for me la. It’s kinda hard to like share music with others unless you have a loudspeaker. Then again, ppl around might not like ur choice of music or understd ur type of music.. that’s why I said “music is very individual ..”

See. I onli got this pathetic blue-white sony earphone which is goin to torn apart soon =( with 2 earpieces. So I cant possibly share my fav mp3 wma wadeva with more than one fren. And, sharing means each of us hv to listen to the music in mono not stereo anymore.

It’s quite hard to find ppl with the same taste in music with you I guess. Or maybe just me? haha. Dunno. Or mayb I got a weird taste? Or u call it ‘unique’ ? =P

And then.. haven’t finished yet… most of the time u listen to music ‘cos u need to be alone. While mugging. When u try to sleep . when there is nobody else in the room. When u feel sad. When u feel a sudden urge to listen to a super nice song.. etc. Sharing music? Hmm. Onli parties I think.. like dance parties. B’day parties. But ppl will b playing some techno. Fast beat. Loud music. Bah. Not that kind of music.

Music can make u feel happier when u r sad. But not vice versa. I dont listen to music when I am happy. Erm shld I say I don’t need music to cheer me up some more? Music can make u feel calm n peace or even let you escape from this stressful world for a little while ( do I sound very stressed? Haha. Ok I shall change the word.. erm.. cancel the stressful part ). Music provide a space for u to imagine.. yes. To imagine ( aiya shld hv include this somehow in gp essay ! ) . not juz the lyrics. The overall FEEL.. ( woah sound so cheem .. ) the atmo of the song.. hmm. That’s why n how I enjoy music la..

Mayb some ppl think that ( walao so gp ! balanced paragraph ! *vomit blood* ) u can improve ur language by listening to songs in that lingo. It just doesn’t work for me la ( Rebuttal mr. gp tutor !! ) erm. Like wad I hv mentioned just now I enjoy the FEEL not the lyrics. Haha. So I dun really care about the lyrics unless someone show to me or wad la.( So sorry to all the great songwriters !!! ) And mayb this is another reason why I enjoy songs in diff languages : Jap. Kor. Thai. Malay. Indon. Spanish. Sanskrit (?!) n of course english n chinese la. ( well these are all I hv in my com la.. ) n my languages still sux haha!!

Sometimes I will kinda like ‘blame’ my parents for not sending me for music classes when I was at younger age ( piano. Violin. Guitar wadeva.. ) la . erm but it’s not their fault anyway. But I really envy those ppl that can play musical instrument very well lor. N I onli know how to play recorder + harmoc !!! Come to think bout this, I guess I really enjoyed music classes back in primary school ! ya n I was kinda sad cos we dun hv music classes for sec sch !!!

Ok. This is getting abit the long for a JC student who is going to have his prelims in 1 week time .. ( do I sound stressed again? Haha. Pardon me. ) ok. That’s all for today.
